I am officially a JMU Journalism student wooooo! 

enrolled, completed all my induction days and now (Well on tuesday) my first lesson shall be in News Reporting oooooh yeah :)

Adjusting to uni life like a fish to water, 
drink - uni - eat - sleep - eat - drink  - uni...ahaha its a never ending cycle of spending money, getting drunk, partying and little work, well hello this is still freshersss!

flatmates are babes, I have three others atm, 1 boy and two girls, we're waiting on the last member of the family atm.

news: Chris Browns new tattoo, what was he thinking!!! is it sickening or literally just art.

I dont know, Im torn, one minute the world's reporting that Rhi Rhi and Chris are rumoured to be getting back together, meeting up on board private boats for secret and intimate rendevous below deck.... and then he goes and gets a tattoo allegedly of her disfigured, battered face? but is it really Rhi Rhi? I personally doubt it, but can definately see where the rumours and flying from. It was in 2008/2009 when Rihanna was savagely beaten by ex lover Chris Brown, the rumours surrounding why the rnb star attacked our barbadian beauty are still a quite shaded, but we have all been witness to the stars huge split and court case that soon followed Chris' attack... Chris was even banned from entering the UK on his eurpoean tour in 2010 because of the attack and VISA issues.

Brown claims the distored face of the woman is art and that he asked the tattooist for a "mexican sugar skull" but recieved this instead... 

The real issue is, if this face is meant to be that of rihanna;s chris is in deep doggy doo doo

currently sat, trying to decided what extensions to get, whether to get my hair plaited/weaved, should be on my way to work shortly but stuck in a rut of indecisiveness!

today is my last shift at work before I finish for the week before heading to L'Pool. damn. Its all happening so fast and yet I still feel like a little girl. sorted out my student account, bought some more last bit essentials, spent £30 in Bodyshop yesterday and got the remainder of my bathroom/body essentials, I'm gonna be smelling sexy in uni ;) and spent a tiny fortune on underwear also. but realistically, I know I am going to want to shop, when I'm down in Liverpool, as they have a great shopping highstreet (so I have been told) but yess poor pennyless student me :( ahaha

will upload some photos of yesterdays purchases after work. 

I have just sat and scrawled a mini list of things I would looooove my paps to get me whilst Im at work, if I recieve any of them, I am sure it will be a miracle but still! these are the last things I need, before I even begin contemplating the mass of jumble sale and charity that is my wardrobe!

11 days to gooooooo

so this week is my last week of work and im in alll week, bar saturday, where we plan on going out to shrews or something.
the week after next I shall arrive in Liverpoool ready for a fortnight of freshers ... gahhh, excited and nervous man, its gonna be a whole new fresh start but unfortunately Im going to have to scrimp and save the entire way, *sob* atm there are no transfer opportunities avail in Liverpool, so im gonna try hardddd to get a job when i get there, fingerscrossed.

Yesterday mum whacked out her finger and with gentle persuasion from meee, I now have a beautiful laptop, its gorgeouss, hot pink and kicks my sweet little tempermental, virus-riddled netbook clean out of the water.

ahhhh trying to work the webcam, its proving tricky, all this new technology, deffo going to have a play tomorrow, but right now need to hit the sack as have work tomorrow and need to get my last minute bits for uni. 1 more week to gooooooo :)

this is my most recent ASOS purchase (the coat not the face) its a Phat purple parker which I am lovinggg, cheeky snap in moms room the day dad was back from london, will post more photos, possible videosss laterr :) and the mask/face is one of those emoticon, additions on the webcam.. tad creeepy

so far loving the pink pad, just need to kit it out with a carry bag, extra hard drive, memo stick and anything else my baby needs... still trynna think of s new name for her also ;)

Oh my.

Last few weeks have been crazy!! Been hectic, preparing and buying the things that essentially I shall have to live off of, by myself for the next few months, by myself and in Liverpool! the thought of it all initially excites and thrills me but deep down I am completely petrified by the idea. Especially as this all takes place literally three weeks away and I feel nowhere near like a complete adult - Gahhhhh. 
Not only that I will have next to nothing to live off of for those months I am studying in "Le Pools" scary thoughts... student loans and student finance are absolutely useless! 
so Therrefore, Im starting off my student life in true student fashion - SKINT. student loan or not. woooo roll on, fending for self,

today I had work 1-6pm was long and gruelling but gotta stay positive and thinkkk about the money at the end of the day.. poor and pennyless...

Recieved two cards from relatives and loved ones, congratulating me on the achievement that is BBC and getting into university. Now the hard work begins. bzzzzzz

Ste also comes back tomorrow nighttttt woo! looking forward to a reunion, hes been away for almost a month now garshhh! big catch up needed.

Red dot days should be looking more regularly, wayy pleased about and mr T finally worked for me, tad uncomfortable at first but yeah his smooth talk finally convinced me to do it! well sorta.

need to start reviving my old hobbies and gaining new interests. facebook and twitter bore me, seriously need to get back to being the good blogger i 1/2 started off like gahhhh.

fave tv programme atm; big bang, american dad, 2broke girls, new girl.... american comedies- i say yes!

Also loove little british short lived dramas, such as The last weekend, Mrs Biggs and the one with the transexual man and his bi, psycho lover.. who ends up murdering his wife in order to be with his transexual lover, and attempts to bury her in a lake... yeah it was good!

Past time; reading old urban lovestories by american poet, journo and writer Omar Tyree - understanding black folk- hilare and too true writing.

gahhhh looking back at my last post, turns out its been well over a month since I last updated my site (sigh) such a bad blogger, but its also fair to say I have been hugely busy, including holidays, university shopping, hanging with friends, working -ALOT and yeahh disturbing discoveries.... but yeahh plenty of uploads to come as I sit hair wearing next to nothing, charging every electrical appliance that I own because I like to run my battery to the ground on the regssssss.


gonna do a proper blog post tomorrow as I realise this is a pile of doo doo and all i really want is snuggles and my bed. will post some photos of my most recent purchases for uni... seriously need to do a clothes shop, im terrible and my wardrobe is making me depressed!

wolvo tomorrow with mother, gotta hand in her final uni assignment, so proud. and need some hair thingssss, may squeeze in another smidgen of uni-halls shopping - in dire need.

so reluctant to buy incase I dont get the grades/suddenly cant go! but seriously dont think I can spend another unplanned year around here. there is nooooooo job prospect/future plan mapped out prospect that I can see right now. gahhhhh!

but yet that might  be my only final option.... eeeek dont wanna put all the eggs in the same basket, but these last 100 years have been building up to this moment and surely its time and Im ready to move out AND on. Results day 16th of Aug. Thats next week thursday. 
the girls are planning a night out to remember - regardless of the results outcome, i'll look forward to that ;)

Watching Panorama tonight, discovering Poland and the Ukraine footballing is fucked up, as if there are people out there still very much behind Hitler and his disgusting, embarrassing views, its sickening.

fans, known as ultra's, attack Asian fans in the crowd, physically beating and punching, merciless. they carry out hate chants, about killing jews and white supremacy.

it is seriously messed up, and the fact that the police and stewards become casual bystanders to all the unprovoked violence and racial hatred.

the whole thing is fucked up and completely immoral.

yeah ive always known about eastern europeans distinct disliking and snobbery towards black people, first hand. easily identifiable is the group of eastern-european's, usually polish, who have flocked their own country to come and earn a decent wage? over hear in Britain. Hang around together and stare at me like I am something below them. or as I walk past they mutter something at me, unrecognisable, in their own language then burst out laughing. 

That panorama episode was actually disturbing and has opened my eyes to how backwards and small minded many people still are in twentyfirst century britain, I don't feel some of my english friends will every understand the severity of this and how uncomfortable it still is. they think; Obama's president of the united states - therefore equality is restored, the EDL are a bunch of moronic chavs hanging around london  (which is part way true) however what they also do not realise is that it is the old, afluent men and women, not willing to change and educate their children and generations to come which are letting the whole system down.

racism is not quite still in its prime but very much still rife here in Britain and as PANORAMA exploited and educated today - massively popular.

I am in disbelief that the simple, sporting amorous game of football in Poland and the Ukraine is actually the beginning of a civil war of race, culture and ridiculous right wing views!

I was firstly amazed at how violent and manic the fans or ultra's were at these games and how much they were able to get away with, undetected or should I say completely ignored by police.

Its fair to say, Britain is on fire #battyriderseason. today it reached gone 23 degrees, surely, was sweltering as I trekked to and from college in sandals, a pair of leggings and a cute little dress,  which I well mosdef be taking to ibizaaaa with me, was loving it!, wish I hadn't worn the leggings mind - jeeez look at me talking all english about the weather. what I really wanted to post about was this video I just scouted off of somebody's facebook page of a british journalists interview and following of OFWGKTA posted on News Night some time in April this year. How I have missed this I don't know?! But literally, this has, and yes I am ashamed to say, educated me a teeeny bit about wtf OFWGKTA is actually all about (for those of you who dont trust wiki) and why soooo many people aren jumping on the 70's crunge, rap star hip hop hype, so many young white teeens espc. 

so... OFWGKTA is an abbreviation of the long-ass, no-sense-making title, that is; ODD FUTURE Wolf Gang Kill Them All, also shortened to Odd Future in the British Press, they are a rap group from L.A America who rap about anything and everything, their lyrics are literally as random as their title. In the video they are described as rock and roll meets rap, I honesty just wanna call them punky/rap they are 70's barble, their lyrics are pop cult, explicit, random, offensive/non offensive, drug, sex, loud in your face - leaving a distinct sour after taste in the older generation and rebellious fire and spirit in the youth.

I actually think they are pretty cool, but have also become the aspirations and role models for  doped up boys and girls and boys, 3rd generation pro feminism - girls calling themselves baddest bitch. expletives like fuck and pussy niggah, bitch etccccc are their main word source. their music is unrelatable? out of this world prehaps? not sure if thats in a good thing, it just sums up what kids of today want to do, #yolo and #yoyo, your only young once! its about rebellion, something the parents can't tap in to, cus the lyrics mean far less to them, its just vulgar noise and obscene lyrics.

"stab bruno mars in his god damn oesophagus" - see now what's bruno Mars done to you, ive seen him live and ngl he did make me swoon, a tiny bit. Don't judge me mind, I feel it neccessary to say  before V Festival I had completely no interest, what so ever in the guy until he sang sweet melodies on stage/in my ear (whatever!) and literally made me wanna mount/cuddle (-again whatever!) whoever was next to me, unfortunately that was my beffa... (whose like 6ft tall and a girl...)  However this is pretty much how he made every single other female in the crowd feel im sure...hmm and then a couple  months later, the little grinning chipmunk was on XFactor and my mother practically fell in love with him the same way. Seee Bruno attracts women (yes I AM WOMAN) of all ages, sizes and styles. whereas OFWGKTA attracts only a select group of new era (not the hat company) odddd (pun!) adolescents ready to cause an unexplainable, random off key, riot for fun. It's all about rebellion, being not what you expect, not in the charts, completely underground yet well known and popular music

They are new pop, punky rap. Their swag is literally ALL I see dotted around the youths, the kids just wanna be exactly like them. they're dress is all "supreme" caps, and nike blazers, denim shirts, quirky tee's, typical new boy swag - which is whyyy the teens want to be like them because its possible.

The best thing about them.... They're music is free, they give it away! and just sell their merch for bareeee dollar! Just watch the video yallll! Gives a very english, toffee nosed view point on the group, England is such a reserved country, the kids are tutted at for swearing in public, OFWGKTA's whole lyrical setup is fuelled with poking fun and the system, getting drunk, drugged up, laid and living in the moment and being young! which is what makes it hilareee - 

Anyways watch the videeoo and I'll look at  uploading an #OOTD montagé - possibly, if i'm not lazy and that flapjack doesn't keep hollaring my name ;) = APPRENTICE IS ON.

BANK HOLIDAY

just another update after the crazy party weekend I have had celebrating my friend Nays 4day birthday weekend, its been a good weekend with a different crowd, im looking forward to many more encounters with these post exams! but right now i need to put all my energy into revision, which is proving massively difficult ;| this time i cannot fail. so will upload the pics later and then revise revise revise until I cant take it anymore.

Also did some OOTD photos todays what is going on! i'm on a roll :)
