Is it finally spring? and are we seriously 4 months into they year already!

Ahhhh, last week I took the executive descision to book a train ticket (The bastards at London Midland are having a sale check it out!) to Liverpool and Halls in order to get some work done! as over the easter break, I have been completely unable to concentrate (ok lets be honest I havent exactly tried) but excuses such as my not so little brothers box room aka my new bedroom, is not the ideal place for a woman of my callibra, (19 year old and Journalist {almost}, deffo makes me marriage material) to be able to carry out degree level study... plus I know I'm cutting it fine, with only two weeks left until the dreaded D-DAY aka Deadline Day aka Go home and  get a job for four months aka FREEDOM from uni work - day.

However since arriving back in Liverpool at 3pm this afternoon, I have fussed around an enormous amount and done absolutely no work what so ever! I ran to the local chippy and grabbed a large bag of their finest, for one and simply fell asleep after destroying that.

The fact of the matter is, it was only the thought of being locked in my flat all night without any nutrious food apart from the mouldy block of cheese someone has left over in the fridge, which now inevitably stinks! (I will find the culprit) That got me going, at quater to eight I decided on a mad lady dash to Lidl 2 minutes down the road in search of a feasty fit for a working princess!
and came back with the basics of a slap up student meal, aka Cheese on toast and a bottle of  Zinfandel of course (who says students have bad taste!), whose price has soared to £4.25! a whole  25p up from last time I was here! The government are crooks! looks like I'm going to have to go back to drinking pints with the lads, laaaa. (Its a Liverpool thing don't worry)

Having caught the last 3 seconds of Eastenders whilst unpacking the last min groceries, I contemplated hosting my own party of one, with the now extortionately priced rosé and cook myself up some pancakes. However celebrating eating, sleeping  and sitting did not seem like a justifiable reason to go wild, and lets face it the idea itself is a little on the sad lonely ogre side.

So now I have just switched on my laptop and headed straight for Facebook, the same montomous routine I have been carrying out for nearly two weeks at home. I really need a wake-up call.

FACEBOOK IS NOT GOING TO PAY THE BILLS, IT SAME OLD, NOTHING CHANGES, STOP WASTING YOUR TIME MELISSA!

^there it is.

I mean honestly home was lovely seeing the family, catching up with the few friends I have left in my home town! but I just could not work there, so having packed my bags (all 3 of them, have you heard of weight training... well that was me on the train  today like a deluded fool, my two piece  clip ins were trying desperately to hold on for dear life whilst I shoved and huffed and hauled and mauled - there is no doubt I struggled, with my overstuffed baggage, on that two hour journey with nothing to consume. but some severely diluted fruit and barely water, 'light sugar water' which just about delivered the rush of energy I needed to fight my way back to the flat)

So yeah that has been my day! so far.... however I will do work tonight!
Right now, I shall wait for the comedyish drama The Syndicate to come on and then BOOM
Revision, portfolio, shorthand, essay! the night is ourss, yippeeee for us both!

A little Love
